Several representatives of the Professional Association of Tax Technicians of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands (APttCB) have announced that the youth rental bonus is forcing the majority of young people to present their income tax return, since it is an aid that represents an increase in wealth greater than 1,000 euros.
Tax technicians warn of this problem and believe that personal income tax should have adapted to the loss of purchasing power and inflation. From the association, they have also reported that young people are a group that "does not think they have an obligation" to make the statement, so they have been warned that this time they may have a "scare" if they do not make the relevant statement.
"The State has not carried out any action so that taxpayers, especially those with lower incomes, really have economic compensation and do not lose purchasing power," warned the president of the Professional Association of Tax Technicians of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, Joan Towers.
During the press conference, the association also wanted to talk about this year's campaign. As regards deductions, the association's secretary, Xavier Masdéu, has indicated that the strong point of the campaign is those related to works to improve energy efficiency.
Masdéu has assured that this time they see a "boom" in the installation of photovoltaic panels. However, it is important to add that in order to apply these deductions a certificate is necessary. The members of the association also warned that care must be taken when accepting the draft over the Internet and that it is necessary to look, above all, at the deductions.
The representative of APttCB, Gloria Millán, has explained that this year the declaration enables specific boxes and has celebrated that more and more platforms facilitate the control of said assets.
